Forging and Heat Treatment Technology of Metal Crusher

Add Time: 12/17/2013 1:15:02 AM

In production of forged metal crusher parts, the deformation extent of forging parts, deformation extent of finished forging parts, temperature and cooling rate of final forging are not uniform, forging will inevitably lead to uneven texture, residual stress and work hardening phenomenon of forging parts. In order to eliminate these deficiencies, exercise must be carried out on forging after heat treatment, its main purpose are:

1. Adjust the forging hardness of forging parts to facilitate the forging and machining.

2. Remove internal remnants stress of the forging parts, so as to prevent the deformation when machined.

3. Improve internal organization of forging parts and refine grain, for fully preparing for the final heat treatment.

Commonly used forging and heat treatment technology of metal crusher are annealing, tempering, quenching and tempering and isothermal normalizing, etc. For forgings parts needn’t ultimate heat treatment, the required mechanical performance requirements should be guaranteed.

For metal crusher, some forging parts need no longer final heat treatment, so in order to obtain nice synthetic mechanical property, tempering is appropriate. For large forgings, heat treatment is used for processing eliminates stress, reducing hardness, preventing spots on the chemical composition and forgings, as well as refining forging organization.
