Coal crusher is one kind of crushing equipment used for crushing lump coal into small size, so it’s also known as coal crusher machine, coal crushing equipment. There are several types of coal crushers with different working principles, and this article focuses on working principle and purchasing tips of coal crusher.
Coal is one of the most important natural resource, but raw coal cannot be used directly on life and industrial production because its large size. Therefore, block coal needs to be crushed by coal crushers.
Both roller crusher and toothed-roll crusher can be used as coal crushing equipment. Roller crusher and toothed-roll crusher crush coal by squeezing coal with rollers.
Roller coal crusher has two relatively rotating crushing rollers. Rollers of toothed-roll crusher are with tooth-like metal gear which can break coal effectively, and the crushed coal is with uniform particle size.
2. Hammer Coal Crusher
Hammer coal crusher crush block coal by striking coal with hammer head, so the working principle of hammer coal crusher is totally different from roller coal crusher.
Hammer coal crusher can be pided into single-rotor hammer coal crusher and dual-rotor hammer coal crusher, and dual-rotor hammer coal crusher has another name of two-stage crusher. Two-stage hammer coal crusher is without screen, so it can crush either dry or wet materials.
3. Two-stage Coal Crusher
Two-stage coal crusher can crush materials into uniform particle size, and the size of almost all final products can be controlled below 2 mm. Two-stage coal crusher, like dual-rotor hammer coal crusher, crush materials by the dual rotors. Materials are sent into the cavity, and crushed by the first rotor, and then crushed by the second rotor. The crushing cavity of two-stage coal crusher is enclosed, and materials rapidly impact each other and crush each other, so as to achieve the desired crushing effect. Finally, crushed materials will be directly discharged through discharging port.
