Features

Hot-blast stove is a kind of device for providing hot air. The work process of dryer requires equipment to provide heat source of hot air, and hot-blast stove can do it. Hot-blast stove is the direct heat source of airflow dryer and steam drying machine, so it occupies a very important position.

Hot-blast stove generally uses solid or liquid fuels, such as coal, diesel fuel, ethyl alcohol and so on. High-temperature gas can be got from the burning of fuels, and gas with a certain temperature can be got by the mixing of air and high-temperature gas, then the gas with a certain temperature will direct contact with the material to dry it, so as to get dry products.

Indirect hot-blast stove is improved from the direct hot-blast stove. Some items don’t allow contamination, or item reacts easily with hot air, so direct contacting with heat source is not proper way to dry materials under special condition. Therefore, indirect hot-blast stove needs heat exchangers, and the greater the heat exchanging area is, the higher the thermal conversion efficiency will be.
